Another Heider joins the firm: Introducing Ryan Heider
Another Heider has joined the team! As of August 25, 2017, Ryan Heider, son of founder and president Joe Heider, will come on board as a financial advisor here at Cirrus Wealth Management.
Ryan graduated from Virginia Tech in 2009 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and later earned an MBA from the Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University in 2015. After undergrad, Ryan started his career in the oil and gas industry at Exxon Mobile where he worked on various assignments from project management to business development.
Prior to joining Cirrus, Ryan worked at the Boston Consulting Group, where he advised Fortune 500 clients on business strategy and operations in the energy, manufacturing and healthcare sectors. His experience consulting and advising clients will translate well to his new responsibilities at Cirrus, both advising existing clients to reach their goals as well as attracting the next generation of clients.
In addition to his passion for personal finance, Ryan enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and boating. He also is an avid international traveler, in just the past two years, he and his wife have been to 10 countries! Of all his travels, his favorite destination is Fiji, where Ryan and his wife spent a few days sailing, exploring uninhabited islands, snorkeling, hiking and experiencing the country’s culture.
Ryan also spends time giving back, since 2005 he has been involved with The Ability Experience. This nonprofit organization’s mission is to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. One main vehicle for impact is cycling fundraisers, and a few years ago he participated in a cross country cycling event from San Francisco to Washington D.C. for the cause.
We’re excited to have Ryan’s passionate personality and fresh perspective here at Cirrus!
